A guide to MelonAds landing pages: a few short questions, a page written from your strategy, full editing, publishing at your own address and a form that feeds your leads.
A monthly plan, Growth or above. Landing pages aren't included in Starter or with credit packs alone.
A saved marketing strategy. The page is written from it, and you can't start without one.
Real customer testimonials if you have them: a YouTube or Vimeo link, or a written quote. And photos of your business, if you have any.
In the menu, click "Landing pages", then "New page". If your plan doesn't include pages, you'll see an explanation and a "Choose a plan" button instead.
Pick a type. A "Short landing page" gives something small for free and asks for details. A "Long landing page" asks for details with the full case behind it. A "Sales page" takes people all the way to payment. A "Video sales page" is built around your own video. A "Thank-you page" is what people see after they've left their details.
Pick a strategy, then answer short questions: which offer the page sells, who arrives (people who don't know you yet, or people who already do), and exactly what they get. You're only asked what matters for the page type you chose.
Every answer saves as you go. You can leave halfway and come back to the same question. On a computer, all the steps are listed on the side and you can jump back with a click.
Under "What happens when they press", choose: "They leave their details in a form", "They go to a payment page", "They leave details, then go to the payment" or "A WhatsApp chat opens". There is also an option for a page with no action, which opens only once you enter a price. For a form, choose what it asks: name, phone, email.
For payment, you give the link to your own payment page. The app never takes money on your behalf. For a form, you also choose what happens right after it's sent, so the thank-you message only promises what really happens.
Testimonials come only from you. The app never writes a testimonial, in text or on video. What you enter is what appears, word for word.
Under "The pictures on the page", decide for each part of the page: upload your own picture, free, or have one generated for credits. The total updates in front of you before you move on.
Under "How it looks", pick one of three directions. If you saved brand colours in your strategy, the page uses them.
"A summary before we build" shows everything you chose and the cost in credits. You pay for the writing and for any pictures the app generates. Manual edits, changing the design, exporting and publishing cost nothing.
Press "Build the page" and watch it being written step by step. If writing stops halfway, what's done is kept, and you can carry on from that point without paying again.
The page opens in the editor with the "Sections", "Settings" and "Publish" tabs, with a live preview of the page beside them. On a phone there is also a "Preview" tab. In "Sections", click any part of the page to change its text and picture, move parts up and down, or hide them. The preview shows the page on a phone and on a computer.
Want the app to rewrite a section? It costs a few credits, and it tells you first whether it would replace text you wrote yourself. Also go through "Details to verify": things that were written and that you need to confirm are true.
In "Settings", fill in the business details shown at the foot of the page, choose where people go after leaving their details (a thank-you message, or a thank-you page you built), and add your Meta pixel.
On the "Publish" tab, choose your site name once, and all your pages live under it, for example yourbusiness.melonads.site. Each page gets its own ending after the slash, like /webinar. Tick the statement that the page's content is your responsibility, and press "Put it live".
Everyone who fills in the form goes straight into the "Leads" screen. The page list shows unique views, leads and conversion rate for each page. "Take it off the air" stops the page and its form, and you can bring it back any time.
The Growth plan includes up to 3 live pages at once, and Pro up to 20. Drafts and pages taken off the air don't count.
Your own photo almost always beats a generated one, and it costs no credits. A real picture of your business builds trust.
Traffic from ads that doesn't know you? Choose people who don't know you yet. The page will open with their problem, not with your offer.
Build a "Thank-you page" too and connect it in Settings. It's the place to say what happens next and offer one more step.
Open the page on your phone before you launch an ad. Most people who arrive from Facebook and Instagram ads are reading on a phone.
Publishing a payment page without your legal name, business number and a cancellation-policy link. In Israel the law requires them on a page that takes payment. Fill them in under "Settings", in "Business details".
Leaving "Details to verify" unchecked. These are things that were written and that you're responsible for.
Inventing urgency. Only add an end date or a number of places if they're real. Visitors spot fake urgency.
Monthly subscribers on Growth or above. On those plans you can build as many pages as you like; the limit is only on how many are live at the same time.
The writing costs credits depending on the page type, and each picture the app generates costs extra credits. The full total appears on the summary before you press "Build the page".
Not yet. Today the page is published at your business's address under melonads.site. Your own domain is marked "coming soon". Meanwhile you can download the page as an HTML file, free, and upload it to any site.
To the "Leads" screen, together with leads from every other source. Even if you delete a page, the leads it already brought in stay.
Yes. The editor has an "Edit the answers" button that reopens the questions. And the text itself can always be edited by hand, for free.
