A guide to MelonAds Copy Studio: pick a platform and a writing style, get several ad versions, improve them in one click and send them to Meta.
A saved marketing strategy. You can write without one, but the copy comes out more generic.
Credits in your account. The price of each run is shown on screen before you press.
In the menu, click "Copywriting Studio". In the "Pick a platform" box, choose where the ad will run: Facebook, Instagram, Google Search, Google Display, Taboola or Outbrain.
Each platform has its own length and structure, and the copy is written to fit. At the bottom of the column you'll also find short tips for the platform you picked.
The "Where the details come from" box has three options. "From a questionnaire" works best: the copy is written from the audience, pains, offer and form of address you already filled in, so you don't explain anything twice.
No strategy yet? "Quick profile" asks seven short questions (you can answer by voice) and saves the answers so you can pick them again next time. "Free-form" is for a quick try: write a few lines about the business and go.
If your strategy has both a main product and an entry offer, one more question appears: which offer you're writing for.
Under "Marketing writing style", pick a structure, such as "Sales letter", "Problem & solution" or "Before & after". Each style has an i icon that explains it in one line. You can pick several, and every version will blend them.
Under "Campaign objective", pick Leads, Sales, Awareness or Traffic. The objective changes the angle and the button: Leads points to "Leave your details", Sales leads with price and a promise.
Want something specific? Open "Your own instruction" and write it, for example "mention the free parking".
Under "How many variants?" choose anything from 1 to 30. The default is 3. The credit cost is written right below.
Press the big button, for example "Write copy for Facebook". Versions are written in batches and appear as they're ready, with a progress percentage. If something stops halfway, you keep what was already written and pay only for that.
Prefer to describe it in your own words? At the top of the results area there's "💬 Just describe it". Type what you want, like a chat, and get a ready ad.
Each version comes on a card with the primary text and a headline. The arrow on the side also shows the description and the call to action. Every field has its own copy button, and "Copy all" copies the whole ad.
Not quite right? Press "Improve" and choose "Shorter", "More emotional", "Less salesy" and more. You can also type your own instruction, like "mention the price". Each improvement costs a few credits.
Below the versions you'll find "Hooks and headlines": opening lines and headlines in several styles. Click a line to copy it. Lines marked "Banner" work as the text on the image.
Everything you write is saved automatically in "My copy" at the bottom of the screen, even after a refresh or a sign-out. Each run is listed by business name, platform and date.
"🚀 Send to Meta" opens the campaign builder with the text, headline and description already filled in. Need a matching image? The "Creative Studio" button below the versions takes you there.
Build the strategy first. Copy written from it speaks your customers' language, not generic "best service in town" talk.
Write a few versions in different styles and run them together in a campaign. That way you learn what works for you instead of guessing.
Copy not landing? Below the versions there's a button for the "Avatar brief": nine questions about your customer, in their own words. Each answer becomes its own selling angle.
If you're speaking only to women or only to men, say so in the strategy or quick profile, so the copy addresses them correctly.
Publishing without reading "Check these before you publish". When your strategy lacks a number or a testimonial, the system may suggest one and lists it there. Replace it with a real one or remove it.
Leaving the page after "Improve" without copying. The improved version shows on the card, but "My copy" keeps the original. Copy it or send it to Meta before you leave.
Writing for one platform and pasting it into another. A Google Search ad is far shorter than a Facebook ad. Write separate copy for each platform.
Each run costs credits based on the number of versions, and the price is shown under the quantity before you press. Improving a version and writing in the chat also cost a few credits.
No. Every run is saved in "My copy" at the bottom of the studio, and the latest one opens automatically when you come back.
Yes. Choose "Free-form" or "Quick profile". The app will suggest building a strategy first, and you can skip it. The result will just be more generic.
Press "🚀 Send to Meta" on the version you like. The campaign builder opens with the text already in place, and you carry on to the image and audience from there.
