A guide to MelonAds Creative Studio: designed ads in your brand colours, every size for Facebook and Instagram, one-click fixes, download and send to a campaign.
A saved marketing strategy that includes your brand colours and logo. That's where the studio picks them up.
Want a specific person or product in the picture? Have a few clear photos of them ready.
Credits in your account. Every image costs credits.
In the menu, click "Ads Creative". On the "New ad" tab, pick a platform, then a "Creative size", such as Square feed, Vertical feed or Stories / Reels. Each size shows a small frame of its shape.
Need the same ad in every size? "All sizes" makes it in each of the platform's sizes. A window first shows how many images that is and the price, and nothing runs until you confirm.
Google Search ads are text only, with no image. For those, use Copy Studio.
Under "How should we design your ads?" choose "From a marketing strategy" or "Free text". From a strategy, the ad gets the brand colours and logo you saved there. When there's room, the logo sits small in a corner, unchanged.
No colours or logo yet? Open your strategy and add them under "Brand colors" (up to three) and "Logo". With free text, the ad doesn't know your branding.
Once you've chosen a source, cards appear under "Golden formulas for your ads". Each card holds the words of one ad: a headline, a subheadline and a button. Every card you check becomes one designed ad.
"Edit" opens the fields: headline, word to emphasize, subheadline, price, a badge like "Sale", and the call to action. Want more directions? Press "Suggest more golden formulas".
If you see "Please confirm these details", read them. The system removes a price or number that isn't in your strategy, but you're the one who confirms what's left.
Under "Who is in the ad" you can pick a saved character, for example you or a team member. Characters and products are created once on the "Characters and objects" tab from a few photos, and then they're available in every ad.
Under "Where it happens" you can tick several locations, and each one gets its own ad. Then choose a "Visual style" (Realistic photo, Authentic UGC, Product only or Illustration), a "Colour mood" and an "Emotional frame".
Press "Create ad" (or "Create 3 ads", depending on how many cards you checked). With more than one ad, the total price is written above the button.
A designed ad usually takes a minute and a half to three minutes, because the system plans the layout and also checks the text in the image was written correctly. A progress percentage shows on screen.
Under each ad there's "🪄 Fix image". Write what to change, such as "make the background blue" or "change the caption to...". The character and composition stay, and the original isn't deleted. If you see a note that the text may have a mistake, this is where to fix it.
"📐 Also make it in" gives you the same ad as Square, Vertical feed or Reels/Story. Fixes and extra sizes both cost credits, and the price is written next to the button.
"Download" saves the image to your device. "Preview" shows how the ad will look in the feed, and you can load copy you wrote in Copy Studio into it. "🚀 Send to Meta" takes the image into the campaign builder.
Everything you make is kept in "My creatives" below the results, even after a refresh or a sign-out. From there you can open, fix, download and delete.
In an agency account, which manages several clients, there's also "Share with a client": a link that shows the client the ads in feed, Stories and Reels, with no account needed. You can set the link to expire.
Write the copy first in Copy Studio. The lines marked "Banner" there were written exactly for the text on the image.
Fewer words on the image means more people stop scrolling. A short headline and one button beat a paragraph.
Check three different formulas and run them together in a campaign. After a few days you'll see which brings cheaper leads.
A saved character keeps the same face across all your ads, so your audience starts to recognise you.
Using "Free text" and expecting your brand colours. Colours and logo only come from a strategy, so choose "From a marketing strategy".
Uploading the logo as a screenshot. It comes out tiny and blurry. Upload the logo file itself, ideally a PNG with a transparent background.
Making a whole new image when only one detail is off. "Fix image" costs less than a new one and keeps what you already liked.
Each image costs credits. When you make several, or every size, the total is shown before you press. A fix or a resize costs less than a new ad.
In your marketing strategy, under "Brand colors" and "Logo". Once saved, pick that strategy in the studio and the ads follow it.
Press "🪄 Fix image" and write the correct wording. The system also checks the text itself and flags an ad that may contain a mistake.
Yes. Every image stays in "My creatives" until you delete it yourself.
